PURPOSE OF THE DATA GATHERED AND LEGAL GROUNDS 

The data we ask you to provide in the forms on our website are appropriate, relevant and strictly necessary for the following purposes:

  • Handling and responding to your contact, query and/or complaint requests.
  • Registration in our candidate database to take part in our selection processes so that Quibim can tell you about job offers or vacancies you may be interested in.
  • Registering for our webinars.
  • Managing your subscription to our e-mail newsletter.

We also process cookies and usage data. This usage data may include information such as your computer’s IP address, browser type, browser version, the pages of our service you visit, the time and date of your visit, the time you spend on those pages, device identifiers and other assessment data. What are the legal grounds for our processing of your data?

Our processing of your data is based on the following legal grounds:

  • Consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR): our processing of your contact information to send you messages is based on the express consent you give us when you get in touch with us to receive marketing and/or advertising messages, register in our candidate database and manage your subscription to our newsletter. Likewise, your consent is needed for our processing of data by means of certain cookies.

The required data are specified in the forms. Should you refuse to provide them, we will not be able to handle your request. You also warrant that all the data you provide are true, accurate and relevant to the purpose for which we request them. It is important that you tell us whenever there are any changes in your personal data to ensure we can keep them up to date. If you do not do this, we cannot accept any liability for the accuracy of your data.

RECIPIENTS 

The data we process about you for the above purposes may be shared with other service providers who have concluded a processor agreement with us in accordance with Article 28 of the GDPR. In addition to these transfers, your data may also be disclosed to public authorities or other organisations for the purpose of meeting our legal obligations. We carry out the following data transfers:

  • Personio: candidate and human resource management software.

  • Azure: the data are hosted on Azure servers in the European Union.

  • HubSpot: customer and user management tool.

  • Zoom and Teams: video chat tools for webinars.

SOCIAL MEDIA 

Quibim has profiles on the main social media sites (LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and Blog) and acknowledges that it is the controller for processing the data of its users, followers and people who post comments on these sites. Equally, it disclaims any liability whatsoever for comments made by users and followers on its social media profiles.

Quibim may use the profiles specified above to share information with its customers and other stakeholders on topics it thinks they may be interested in.

INTERNATIONAL DATA TRANSFERS

The personal data we process in connection with our processing systems and websites may be stored in countries outside the European Economic Area.

We will comply with applicable data protection laws whenever we transfer your personal data outside the European Economic Area. Below are some of the mechanisms we may use when transferring your personal data abroad:

  • Your personal data is transferred to a country the European Commission officially recognizes as ensuring a suitable level of personal data protection.

  • We reserve the right to use specific contracts approved by the European Commission which afford personal data the same protection as they have in Europe (known as EU standard clauses).

DATA RETENTION 

Any personal data you provide will be retained for as long as may be required to fulfil the purposes for which they were gathered or until you withdraw your consent. After this time, we will delete them from our systems, although we may keep them while restricting their processing to the exercise or defence of legal claims under applicable law.

Pursuant to data protection regulations, you may request:

  • Right of access: you can ask for information about the personal data we hold about you.

  • Right to rectification: you can report any changes to your personal data. However, you may also update your personal data directly in your account settings whenever possible.

  • Right to erasure (the right to be forgotten): you can ask for your personal data to be deleted after they have been blocked.

  • Right to restriction of processing: you can ask us to restrict our processing of your personal data under certain circumstances.

  • Right to object: you can withdraw your consent to our processing of your data by objecting to their further processing.

  • Right to data portability: in some cases, you may ask for a copy of your personal data in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format for transmission to another controller.

  • Right not to be subject to automated individual decision-making: you can ask for decisions not to be taken based solely on automated processing, including profiling, and produce legal effects concerning you or similarly significantly affecting you.

We may, in some cases, reject your request if you ask us to erase data which are necessary for us to meet our legal obligations. Likewise, if you are not happy with our processing of your data, you may make a complaint to the data protection authority.

SECURITY MEASURES IN PLACE FOR PROCESSING YOUR DATA
